Performers at the SMTown Live World Tour III seemed to know how to charm Indonesia fans, even before Saturday's concert began.
Nine
Korean-pop artists who attended the show's press conference on Saturday
afternoon showed off their Indonesian language ability as they greeted
journalists.
"Selamat malam, kami Dong Bang Shin Ki [Good
evening, we are Dong Bang Shin]," said the duo of Changmin and Yunho at
the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in South Jakarta.
Victoria of the
girl band f(x) and soloist Kangta issued similar greetings, but no one
could beat the leader of boy band Super Junior.
"Assalamualaikum, nama saya Leeteuk. Saya suka Indonesia sekali [Peace
be with you, my name is Leeteuk. I love Indonesia very much]," said the
front man whose group had been performed twice in the country
previously.
The artists, along with SM Entertainment's stars BoA,
Girls' Generation, SHINee and EXO, will perform at the four-hour show
tonight at the stadium.
"It will be special show since we will perform as the SMTown family. Hope you enjoy our show," Leeteuk added.
The show's promoters, MP Entertainment and W Productions, expected the show to draw a crowd of 50,000 people.
As of 5:40 p.m., tickets were still available, except for Tribune III priced Rp 500.000 apiece.
