Apparently when it’s free hugs from the Boyfriend members, it’s just too much, even for busy spots like Myeongdong in Seoul.
To show their love and appreciation for their fans, the Boyfriend members held a free hug event on November 18 in the busy metropolitan area of Myeongdong in Seoul.
Standing outside together with signs offering free hugs to anyone, the event immediately attracted over 1,000 people around them and, due to safety concerns, the event’s location had to be relocated.
However, even the new location didn’t ease up the crowd as fans followed the group and began swelling in even greater numbers and eventually led to the event’s early conclusion.

Entertainment shared, “The event was created for Boyfriend to go out
and directly return the love to the fans who are always the source of
the members’ strengths but we had many more people attend the event than
anticipated. We are just as disappointed we had to end the event early
in concern of our fans’ safety. We hope to meet you all again soon
through another event in the near future.”
