[Issue] SNSD Becomes First Overseas Female Artist to Place 1st on Oricon Weekly Singles, DVD and Blu-ray Chart

SNSD has made history once more in Japan.

According to the Oricon’s updated figures for the week, SNSD’s January 26-released Oh! single and its Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection DVD and Blu-ray have all placed first on the Oricon weekly singles, DVD compilation and Blu-ray disc chart.

By doing so, SNSD becomes not only the first overseas artist and overseas female artist to place first on all three charts but only the second artist in the Oricon’s history after Mr. Children.

SNSD also announced it would release its sixth single album, Flower Power on November 14.
